A Vancouver crew that’s been moving dirt since 2008.
Lindberg Pipe & Grade digs foundations, lays pipe, grades sites and builds retaining walls across Southwest Washington and the Portland metro.
We work for general contractors, production builders and homeowners, and most of what we know came from doing the same work, the right way, thousands of times. The crew has been with us for years. The office plans the work so the machines show up when the schedule says they will. And when something on site doesn’t match the plans, you hear about it from us first.

02What we do
From raw ground to ready to build.
Every site starts the same way: trees, dirt and a set of plans. Here’s what happens between that and the day the next trade shows up. Hire us for one step or hand us all five.

Clear
Land clearing and light demolition. We open the site up and take out what has to go.
Site prep & clearing -
Dig
Foundations, basements, building pads, cut and fill. Dug to the plans and checked against grade.
Excavation -
Pipe
Trenching and site utilities, laid and backfilled. It’s the “pipe” in our name.
Underground utilities -
Grade
Rough and finish grade, so the next trade walks onto a site that’s actually ready.

Rock and retaining walls, set by the same crew that cut the slope behind them.

Walls built by the crew that cut the slope.
We build rock and retaining walls on commercial and residential projects. Because we’re an excavation company first, the same crew handles the cut, the base, the drainage, setting the wall and the backfill. One system we install a lot is Verti-Block, made in Vancouver by our sister company, Natrix Precast.

We’re an excavation and underground utilities contractor based in Vancouver, WA. We do residential and commercial excavation, grading, underground utility work, homesite development, land clearing, light demolition and rock and retaining wall installation.
Where do you work?
Vancouver, Clark County and the greater Portland metro area, with projects across Southwest Washington and Oregon.
Do you work for general contractors, builders and homeowners?
Yes, all three. We subcontract the civil scope for commercial GCs, do production work for residential builders and subdivisions, and work directly with homeowners on new homes, additions and slopes.
Can one crew handle the dirt, the utilities and the walls?
Yes. Excavation, grading, underground utilities and retaining walls can all stay with one crew, which means fewer handoffs on your site.
